Which counties we watch.
Each county is a real integration — an API, a data feed, or an enrollment in the county's own free alert program. We launch in four US metros first and add coverage by request and by data availability.
Today
Why not nationwide on day one
US property records are county-level, not federal. There are over 3,000 recording jurisdictions in the United States, each with their own data systems, formats, and access rules. Treating county integration as “easy” is how the title lock products end up actually monitoring nothing in the counties they claim. We do each one for real or we don’t list it.
Where the free county alert programs help
Where a county already offers a free fraud alert (NYC’s ACRIS Recorded Document Notification, Miami-Dade’s Property Fraud Alert, LA’s Homeowner Notification Service), we enroll you in it on your behalf and surface those notifications alongside ours. We do not charge you for re-surfacing what the county already provides for free — paid plans cover the things the county doesn’t do: cross-county aggregation, SMS, family contacts, the remediation workflow.
Request your county
Want us to add your county? Send the county name and your state to coverage@deedshield.net. We prioritize by request volume and by data accessibility — counties with a public API or bulk export get added much faster than counties whose records are manual-entry only.
